A rare late 18th Century French quarter repeating and calendar, 2-coloured gold verge watch with enamel painting and stone setting. Winding through the white enamel dial, black Arabic numerals and red numerals at the calendar. Three colour gold case with circular polychrome enamel erotic scene on the back, surroundeg applied gold work set with diamonds. Ca. Ø 4 cm, ca. 80g.

A Meissen nodding pagoda figure, model of Johann Joachim Kaendler, modelled seated cross-legged with a nodding head and a moveable tongue and hands, crossed swords mark, 32 cm.

A Meissen floral monogrammed cup and saucer, Marcolini period 1774-1814, cobalt blue bodies with gilt rims, borders with gilt circles, polychrome decoration on the cup with a gallant scene representing a young woman sitting on a rock, a young man by her side, in a green and wooded environment. Another side is decorated with a floral monogram JMO. The saucer, also decorated polychrome with a sheep’s and goats within a ribboned gilt colored flower frame, the inside of the cup painted with cobalt blue. Height 5.5 cm, diameter of the cup 7.6 cm, diameter of the saucer 13.2 cm. Meissen underglaze blue sword mark with star, Marcolini period.


An Extremely Rare and Fine Victorian Mirror Frame Presented to His Royal Highness The Duke Of Albany K. G., richly pierced and embossed with flowers and scrolls and with an empty cartouche. Lower medallion has an engraved presentation inscription: " Presented to His Royal Highness The Duke Of Albany K. G. President of the Bachelors' Club, On His Marriage by the Members of Committee. 14th March 1882 ". Made by Robert Humphries, London 1881, 78 x 55 cm.
